Shinde and Fadnavis met Modi

New Delhi, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday. Shinde, who came to Delhi for the first time after becoming the Chief Minister, had met Union Home Minister Amit Shah a day earlier. On Friday night, Shinde and Fadnavis had a long meeting with Amit Shah, in which it is being told that the outline of the cabinet was finalized and the names and portfolios of the ministers were decided. Soon new ministers will be sworn in in the state.

However, the day after meeting Amit Shah, Shinde and Fadnavis met Prime Minister Modi at his Lok Kalyan Marg residence and sought his “blessings and guidance” for the development of Maharashtra. The Prime Minister’s Office tweeted only and said – Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis met Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Earlier in a press conference here, Shinde said that he would try to understand the Prime Minister’s vision for the development of the state and try to take Maharashtra to new heights. Shinde said several projects like the Samridhi Expressway connecting Mumbai and Nagpur, metro rail in cities and digging farm ponds to boost irrigation were initiated by Fadnavis, but were delayed under the Uddhav Thackeray-led government. Is. He said those projects would be expedited. Shinde and Fadnavis took oath on June 30 after Uddhav Thackeray resigned from the post of Chief Minister.
