New Delhi | Shardiya Navratri 2022: Navratri, a nine-day festival of worship of Adi Shakti, Mother Jagat Janani, Maa Bhavani, Maa Durga, has started from today. The Shardiya Navratri, which started from today, will continue till Vijayadashami on October 5. Today, first of all, the Kalash will be established methodically. After that Maa Durga’s invocation, establishment and life will be consecrated.

With the beginning of Navratri, the chants of Matarani are being heard in the temples of Mata across the country. Since morning there has been a rush of devotees in the temples of Mata. The temples are decorated with flowers and colorful lights.

Shardiya Navratri 2022: The first form of Maa Durga, worshiped for nine days, is ‘Shailputri’. Due to being the daughter of the mountain king Himalaya, Mother Parvati is also called Shailputri. Apart from this, the mother is also known by the name Hamvati. Worshiping Maa Shailputri gives infinite results. Mother bestows fame, knowledge, salvation, happiness, prosperity etc. to her devotees. On the first day of Navratri, the seeker has to keep his mind situated in the ‘Mooladhara’ chakra and from here his yoga practice begins.

Worship method of Mata Shailputri – Shardiya Navratri 2022:
After getting up early in the morning, after taking bath etc., first of all do Ghatasthapana and worship.
After this, worship Maa Shailputri and offer Akshat, white flowers, vermilion, incense, lamp, perfume, fruits, sweets etc. to the mother.
Offer sweets made of milk to Maa Shailputri or you can also offer cow’s ghee.
During this, recite his worship mantra.
