In such a situation, on the occasion of the 83rd Raising Day celebrations of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Union Home Minister Amit Shah remembered the valor of the security forces personnel. During his address, Shri Shah praised the valor and sacrifice of the security forces and said that the security forces have successfully controlled terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir. He said at the Maulana Azad Stadium that since the abrogation of Article 370, terrorism has been successfully controlled in Jammu and Kashmir.

CRPF Raising Day Shah: Amit Shah said that after Narendra Modi took over as the Prime Minister in 2014, the situation in Jammu and Kashmir has changed a lot. He said that for the first time in the state the democratic system was taken to the grassroot level, which made not only Jammu and Kashmir but the entire country proud. Shri Shah said that more than 33,000 members were elected as Panch and Sarpanch and they are taking Jammu and Kashmir towards development. District and Tehsil Panchayats were formed.

CRPF Raising Day Shah: Shah said the Jammu and Kashmir government has managed to ensure investment of over Rs 33,000 crore here. Praising the CRPF, Shri Shah said that it is the world’s largest para-military force and is not only maintaining law and order but also fighting terrorism and eliminating Naxalites in J&K. Along with this, it has also maintained its tag of being the best police force of the country. He said that the Center is committed to take the CRPF to newer heights and empower the force with all the latest gadgets and technology.
