Korba. In Chhattisgarh’s Korba, 7 people died and 12 people were injured in a collision between a bus and a truck. According to the police, the accident happened at 4 am on Monday. The injured have been admitted to hospital. Police said that the bus driver has been arrested.
According to Korba Superintendent of Police Santosh Singh, the accident took place near Madai Ghat under Bango police station area. He told that the bus is his own travel company and it was going from Raipur to Surguja. According to preliminary information, the bus driver was trying to avoid a car coming from the opposite direction and in this sequence he rammed into a parked truck.
