In the sequence of accidents happening in Pakistan, one more accident has increased. Four people were killed and three people were injured in an explosion in a car at Karachi University today. After the blast, there was a stir in the whole area.

According to the information received, the blast took place in a car of the Chinese Institute near the University’s Confucius Institute, in which four people were traveling and all four were Chinese nationals. Chinese teachers and drivers were among those killed in the blast. While three people injured in the blast include a foreign national, a ranger officer and a security guard. The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment. The fire has been extinguished by the security forces present in the campus.

Let us inform that the Baloch Liberation Army, which has carried out such attacks in the past, has claimed responsibility for this attack. A woman attacker from BLA has carried out this blast by suicide attack and now its video has also surfaced. It is seen in the video that after coming near the car, the woman blew herself up with a bomb.

According to preliminary information, the blast took place at 1.52 am local time in a car near the Confucius Institute, a center teaching the Chinese language at Karachi University. At present, the area has been cordoned off and people have been asked to stay away from here.

After this incident, Karachi Police Chief Ghulam Nabi Memon said that according to preliminary investigation, a woman wearing a burqa could be involved in the suicide blast. Taking cognizance of the incident, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has also sought a detailed report of the blast while directing the former Deputy Commissioner (DC) and SP East to reach the blast site immediately.
