Giving information about the encounter, IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said that both the terrorists killed were associated with different terrorist organizations. One terrorist was associated with Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind and the other terrorist Umar Teli was associated with Lashkar. Both have been piled up by the security forces. Both the terrorists were involved in several recent incidents in Srinagar.
Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind terrorist Safat Muzaffar Sofi alias Muawiyah and Lashkar terrorist Umar Teli alias Talha were killed in Tral.
