Tejas Rajdhani will run via Bhagalpur!

In fact, the weekly Tejas Rajdhani Express running between Agartala and Anand Vihar is now preparing to run via Bhagalpur Patna. It is believed that the Railways can take a decision about this at any time. The weekly Tejas Rajdhani Express running between Agartala and Anand Vihar, now running via Bhagalpur, will bring maximum convenience to the railway passengers of Bihar.

Railway Board will take decision

North East Frontier Railway has examined the New Jalpaiguri – Malda route and sent the proposed timetable to the Railway Board. It may also send the timetable of Malda-Kiul route to Railway Board soon, in which it is proposed to run the weekly Tejas Rajdhani Express running between Agartala and Anand Vihar via Bhagalpur. Once it gets approval from the Railway Board, then this train will start running via Bhagalpur-Patna.

Train number 20501/20502 runs via Agartala Anand Vihar Terminal Via New Jalpaiguri, Katihar, Patliputra, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction. But now its new route is being prepared. For the past many years, the people of Bhagalpur were demanding to run Rajdhani train through this route. Recently, Bhagalpur MP Ajay Mandal had also met the Railway Minister regarding this demand and requested to run Rajdhani train via Bhagalpur.
