In an RTI reply, the Home Ministry has said that there is no evidence that Hindutva is threatened, and such hypothetical questions cannot be answered. We can answer only those questions through RTI which are in our jurisdiction.

Recently, the question was asked to the Central Government through Right to Information (RTI) that, what is the evidence about the threat to Hinduism in the country? In response to this question, the Ministry of Home Affairs has said that, ‘The threat to Hinduism is only imaginary. There is no evidence related to this. Let us inform that this RTI was filed by Mohnish Jabalpure of Nagpur on 31st August. Regarding the reply given by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Congress veteran and former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Digvijay Singh has targeted Modi supporters and Hindu organizations through a tweet.

Digvijay Singh targeted in the tweet: In his tweet, he wrote, “All the devotees of Modi, you are listening, what is the Union Home Ministry under the leadership of Amit Shah saying? Stop fooling me anymore.” In fact, on the reply of RTI, the Central Public Information Officer (CPIO) of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Internal Security, VS Rana has said that, he is neither aware of such hypothetical questions nor is there any evidence for it. He said that, through RTI, we can answer only those questions which are available with us or which come under our jurisdiction.

Let us tell that in the last few years, an attempt has been made by Hinduist organizations to prepare a narrative that due to the increasing population of Muslims in the country, Hinduism is facing a crisis.

Digvijay Singh is often in discussion: It is believed that this new tweet of Digvijay Singh can again heat up the political atmosphere. In fact, Congress leader Digvijay Singh remains on the target of Hindutva organizations every day due to his anti-Hindu statements. There are allegations against him that he gives anti-Hindu statements for the politics of Muslim appeasement. His statements about Batla House encounter, Hindu terrorism, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh often keep him in the discussion.

By the way, in the last few years it has also been seen that the Congress has adopted the politics of soft Hindutva regarding Hindutva. However, even after this, she remains the target of BJP. Recently, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had said in an enlightened conference that those who are accidental Hindus comment on the gods and goddesses of Hinduism. Such people flee to Italy in times of disaster.
