Rohit has been given the command of ODI team after T20. He recently took over the captaincy in the T20 series against New Zealand. Team India won this series 3-0. At the same time, in the first Test of the series, Ajinkya Rahane took charge, after which Virat Kohli returned to the team from the second Test. Team India won the second test match played in Mumbai. He won the series 1-0.
