Hemant Sarkar wins trust vote

Ranchi, The Hemant Soren government in Jharkhand won the trust vote in the one-day assembly session on Monday. On this occasion, he attacked the BJP fiercely in the House and also targeted the Governor. There was no question on the majority of Hemant Soren’s government but he proved the majority to end the atmosphere of uncertainty created in the state. All the opposition legislators present in the house voted in favor of the trust vote. The government got 48 votes in favor, while the BJP walked out of the house.

Hemant Soren’s government has the support of 51 MLAs, out of which 48 voted in favor of the government’s trust vote. The remaining three MLAs were not present in the House. These three MLAs were caught in West Bengal with cash money recently and even after getting bail, they are not allowed to leave Kolkata yet. However, while delivering a speech during the trust vote, Chief Minister Hemant Soren targeted the Governor and said that he had talked about taking a decision on the Election Commission’s report in two-three days but quietly went to Delhi.

Targeting the BJP and the central government, he said that in the states where the BJP does not have governments, it is trying to destabilize the democratically elected governments and that is why the need was felt to get the trust vote. He also alleged that the BJP was trying to create a civil war-like situation in the country by instigating riots to win the elections. The assembly was adjourned sine die after the Soren government secured the trust vote.
