LPG Price Today: Today is going to be a day full of relief for the people suffering from inflation as the new prices of LPG cylinders have been released today. According to the new rate released by Indian Oil, the price of LPG cylinder has been reduced by Rs 36. The benefit of this facility will be given to the people using commercial cylinders. From today, 19 kg LPG cylinder will be available in Delhi for Rs 1976.50 instead of Rs 2012.50. Whereas in Kolkata, instead of Rs 2132, Rs 2095.50 will be available. Its price has come down to Rs 1936.50 in Mumbai and Rs 2141 in Chennai.

No change in domestic LPG cylinder prices

While on one hand those using commercial cylinders have got relief, there has been no change in the prices of domestic LPG cylinders. Domestic cylinders are available at the prices of 6th July only. It is worth noting that on July 6, the prices of domestic LPG cylinders were increased by Rs 50. After which it costs Rs 1053 in Delhi and Mumbai, Rs 1079 in Kolkata and Rs 1068.50 in Chennai.

When did the price drop earlier?

In the national capital Delhi, on July 1, the price of 19 kg commercial Indane gas cylinder was reduced by Rs 198. At the same time, there was a reduction of Rs 190.50 per cylinder in the financial capital Mumbai and Rs 187 in Chennai. Petroleum company Indian Oil had cut the rate of commercial cylinders. However, there was no change in the rate of 14 kg LPG cylinder used in homes. The direct benefit of the relief in prices by the oil companies was given to those people who eat food in hotels outside. This year, hotels had increased prices ranging from roti to pulses and vegetables due to increase in prices by about Rs 350.
