‘Employment fair’ started to recruit 10 lakh people

New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the ‘Rojgar Mela’, a campaign to recruit 10 lakh people. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the central government will give appointment letters to over 75,000 people on Saturday. Under the campaign, 50 Union ministers will hand over appointment letters to around 20,000 people at various places across the country.

Narendra Modi said that the ‘Rozgar Mela’ started to recruit one million people is an important milestone in the government’s efforts for employment, self-employment in the last eight years. He said that during the Kovid epidemic, the central government provided assistance of more than Rs 3 lakh crore to the MSME sector, due to which the crisis of more than 1.5 crore jobs has been averted. Shri Modi said that a lot of employment is generated from manufacturing, tourism sector, the government is focusing on expansion of these sectors.

Modi said that today is an important occasion for the youth power of India. In the last eight years, the campaign of employment and self-employment is going on in the country, today another link is being added to it. This is the link of the job fair. Today, keeping in mind the 75 years of independence, the central government is giving appointment letters to 75 thousand youth under a program. In the last eight years, appointment letters have been given to lakhs of youth in the past, but this time we decided that the tradition of giving appointment letters together should also be started. Such a job fair has been started in the Government of India. Similarly, appointment letters will be handed over to lakhs of youth from time to time by the Government of India in the coming months. I am happy that many NDA ruled states and union territories as well as BJP governments are going to organize similar employment fairs here. Jammu and Kashmir, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman-Diu and Andaman-Nicobar are also going to give appointment letters to thousands of youth by conducting similar programs in the coming days.

He said that there has been so much urgency in the departments of the Central Government, behind this 7-8 years of hard work, there is a huge resolve of Karma Yogis. Otherwise you will remember, if one had to apply for government job earlier, then many problems would have started from there. Various certificates were asked for, you had to stand in a queue outside the leaders’ house to prove the certificates which were there. Had to go after taking the recommendation of the officers. We liberated the youth from all these difficulties in the initial years of the government itself. Self attestation, the youth should certify their certificates themselves, this arrangement was made. The second big step we took up all those traditions by eliminating the interviews in Group C and Group D recruitments of the Central Government. Millions of youth have also benefited immensely by ending the interview process.
