Speaking further, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said, ‘Opposition front is not possible without Congress. The face of the opposition front can be a matter of discussion. With which Rahul Gandhi will soon go to Mumbai. He also said that there should be only one opposition front.” However, he did not clarify about Shiv Sena joining the UPA. But due to this meeting between Rahul Gandhi and Sanjay Raut, the closeness of both the parties is increasing.

After which Shiv Sena’s main paper Saamna had said, “Congress is still in many states. Congress leaders in Goa and northeastern states have joined Trinamool and same is the case with AAP.” It has also been said in the editorial that forming an alliance like UPA will only strengthen the BJP.
