Jaipur | lumpi Virus Rajasthan : There is an atmosphere of fear about Lumpy Viral everywhere in the country. However, the most affected state is Rajasthan itself. Now people have also got scared about this viral. In such a situation, Animal Husbandry Minister Lalchand Kataria, while advising people to be patient, has said that saving cows from lumpy skin disease is the top priority of the state government, for this every effort is being ensured with full alertness and vigilance. Mr. Kataria said this after the discussion regarding lumpi disease in the state assembly. He said that for the prevention of this serious disease, along with adequate supply of medicines, vaccination of cows is being done rapidly.

lumpi Virus Rajasthan : The Animal Husbandry Minister said that the state government will seriously implement the concerns and suggestions expressed by the members regarding this disease in the House. He assured that along with further improving the efforts being made for the prevention of this disease, all the systems related to it will be strengthened. He said that Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is very serious about this disease spreading rapidly in the cow dynasty. As soon as this disease was detected, he made sure that the loss of cow progeny is stopped. For this, he called for public awareness about lumpy skin disease by interacting with all the public representatives through video conference on August 15 and released an amount of Rs 30 crore for veterinary facility.

lumpi Virus Rajasthan : Shri Kataria said that the State Government is making every effort to save the livestock from this disease. After the confirmation of lumpi disease in the state, the Animal Husbandry Department issued guidelines on May 12 itself and started efforts to prevent the disease and save the cows. Continuous adequate availability of medicines is being ensured at all veterinary centers and the pace of vaccination is being increased continuously. He said that the people’s representatives, voluntary organizations, Bhamashahs and Gau Sevaks who have contributed immensely in the prevention of disease and saving the cow dynasty, they will be honored.
