Bhilwara. The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights on Monday visited two villages in Bhilwara district where 34 girls were found missing and the commission has directed to trace them. Priyank Kanungo, who came to Bhilwara to investigate the matter of selling girls on stamp in Bhilwara district, reached Itunda village of Jahazpur area where he took stock of the school and Anganwadi and saw the data of how many girls’ names are registered in the school. And how many Anganwadis are coming and those who are not coming since when are they not coming there. Many of the girls who were not coming, Mr. Kanungo reached the houses of the girls and inquired about them but there too no satisfactory answer was received about them. In such a situation, instructions have been given to the administration and police officers to trace these girls as missing. Similarly, Mr. Kanungo reached Dhaud village in the district and 34 girls have not been found in these two villages, who have been asked to trace them.

Shailendra Pandey, former member of the State Children’s Commission, said that Mr. Kanungo has taken this matter seriously and after these two villages, he will now go to Pander where he will investigate about the case of girl child sold on stamp. It is noteworthy that in the investigation, the case of the girls who had come to the fore in Pander has turned out to be of the year 2019 and District Collector Ashish Modi and Superintendent of Police Adarsh ​​Sidhu jointly held a press conference and disclosed that in this case Already 25 accused have been arrested. This matter is not new. At the same time, in Mandalgarh area, there were also complaints about the sale of girls on stamps, but during the investigation, the girls themselves appeared in front of the police and made it clear that no one has sold them.

The police department had issued a press note in this regard two days ago, disclosing that two out of the three women have been questioned and no such evidence was found in which they were known to be sold. Whereas a woman could not reach here due to being in a remote region.
