Captain Sanju Samson won the toss and decided to bat first. Rajasthan started poorly and Evin Lewis fell victim to Bhuvneshwar Kumar on a personal score of 6 runs. After this, captain Sanju Samson along with Yashasvi Jaiswal handled the innings. Yashasvi Jaiswal got out after scoring 36 runs. After this Liam Livingstone could only score 4 runs. However, Samson remained at one end and continued to advance the team’s score. Mahipal Lomror scored an unbeaten 29 runs. Riyan Parag got out for zero and Rahul Teotia remained unbeaten on 0.

Talking about the bowling of Hyderabad, Siddharth Kaul took the maximum 2 wickets. Sandeep Sharma Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Rashid Khan took one wicket each. In the last over of the innings, Siddharth Kaul bowled excellently, giving only 4 runs and taking 2 wickets.
