Ramchandra Prasad Singh i.e. RCP Singh, who was the closest aide of Nitish Kumar, has started an open attack on the party and the state government. He has also announced that he will join BJP. It is believed that RCP Singh can prove to be a trump card for the BJP. He is used in many ways in BJP. It is believed that in the next few days, when the action of central agencies will start in Bihar, then RCP will come in handy. He is with Nitish Kumar since the time when Nitish was the Railway Minister. So, he has been a witness to all the work. First as the OSD of Nitish Kumar, then as the General Secretary of the party and then as the National President of the party. It is being said that he knows many secrets, which can be used by central agencies.
Only then, before he could tell any secret to the central agencies, the state government discovered the property of him and his family members and the party started demanding the account of 40 bighas of land purchased in the name of his family in two blocks of Nalanda. Apart from investigating agencies etc., RCP also has political uses. He can contest from Nalanda seat on BJP ticket in the next Lok Sabha elections. This is Nitish Kumar’s home constituency and his close aide Kaushalendra Kumar has been winning the election of MP from there for three times. In 2014, when Nitish contested alone, BJP’s ally LJP had contested that seat and lost by a very small margin. Then Nitish had to roam from village to village to win his candidate. If RCP fights, there will be a direct fight with Nitish and all eyes will be on that match.
