Raj Kundra finally gave clarification on Porn Racket Case, said- This is nothing but a feeling of revenge to tarnish my name

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband businessman Raj Kundra, who is facing a money laundering probe linked to an alleged pornography case, has denied any involvement in the production or distribution of explicit adult content and said it will “tarnish my name”. There is nothing to do except the feeling of revengeā€.
Speaking to reporters, Kundra said, “For the last three years, there was a lot of speculation in the media. I felt that my participation in these speculations was not required. For me, sometimes silence is happiness, but when it comes to If the family comes and family members are involved in it, then I feel that I should come forward and speak.Early last month, the Enforcement Directorate had raided the premises of Raj Kundra and several others in connection with a money laundering probe. During the search operation, raids were conducted at around 15 places in Mumbai and Uttar Pradesh.
Kundra expressed confidence in the judicial process and said he wanted the matter to be resolved.He said, “Among the 13 people included in the charge sheet, I am the only one who is saying that this case should be closed soon. If someone is guilty, he should be charged; if he is not guilty, then He should be acquitted. So if it was even 1% true, I would not have sought acquittal.”
‘It is difficult to spend 63 days in jail’
On July 19, 2021, Kundra was arrested on charges of creating pornographic adult content and distributing it through mobile apps. After spending two months in jail, he got bail in September 2021.
Referring to the time he spent in custody, Kundra said, “I was kept in Arthur Road jail for 63 days. It was difficult to spend those 63 days without my family. As I am saying, I am fighting in the court “I am confident that I will win this case.”
‘Used to provide technical services’
Kundra denied any connection with pornography, insisting that his involvement was limited to providing technical services. He said, “To date, I have never been a part of any pornography, any production or anything related to porn. When this allegation came out, it was very hurtful.”
According to the investigating agency, Kundra formed a company named Arms Prime Media Limited in February 2019 and developed an app named “Hotshots”. Later this app was sold to his brother-in-law Pradeep Bakshi’s UK based company “Kenrin”.
Police said Kundra’s phone contained WhatsApp chats about Kenrin and his financial transactions. These conversations also revealed that they had discussed selling 119 adult films to an individual for US$1.2 million.

Explaining his business operations, Kundra said, “As far as running the app is concerned, there was a listed company in my son’s name, and we provided technology services. We provided technology services to my brother-in-law’s company, Kenrin. They launched an app that was definitely made for a larger audience; these were A-rated movies, but they weren’t vulgar at all.”
According to the report, the Hotshots app served as a porn platform, which was allegedly filmed in India and uploaded on the app.
He denied any involvement in the production of the film and challenged claims about his role. She said, “If any girl comes forward and says that I have met Raj Kundra or have worked in any of his films, or has Raj Kundra ever made any film.”
Kundra also rejected allegations that he was the main person behind several of the apps under investigation. He said, “The media says that Raj Kundra is the mastermind of all 13 apps. I am only involved in software technology involvement, and there was nothing wrong going on in that app.”

‘Shilpa Shetty has worked very hard, this is very unfair’
Kundra criticized the media for dragging his wife’s name into controversies related to her. “She has worked very hard, it is very unfair that the controversy is mine, and you are involving my wife’s name in it,” Kundra said.He argued that linking them to his issues was merely being done for “clickbait” and views. Kundra insisted that Shetty had nothing to do with his cases and linking his name was unfairly tarnishing his reputation.
He said, “You can say anything about me, but don’t speak about my family.”Kundra reflected on his career in India, highlighting his contributions as a businessman and former IPL team owner. “I’ve been here for 15 years… I’ve invested a lot in India, so I don’t feel like I’m known,” he said. He stressed that Shetty has done important work for the country, and it is unfair to diminish his achievements by linking him to his controversies. He said, “You cannot take away this right from him by adding his name to any of my disputes.”
