This time the Railways is going to provide a very special facility to the passengers in Chaitra Navratri (Chaitra Naratri 2022).
Travelers will be able to order food to be eaten during the fast
IRCTC Provide Special Vrat Food: Chaitra Navratri (Chaitra Naratri 2022) is starting from the month of April. In which devotees will worship Goddess Durga for nine days and keep a fast. In such a situation, railways have made arrangements to provide the passengers traveling by train the facility of their favorite food during the fast. Due to which the passengers will be able to order food to be eaten during the fast while sitting.
Pure and sattvik food
IRCTC is going to start this facility for passengers from April 2. This food will be completely pure and sattvik. There will be no onion and garlic in it and instead of normal salt, rock salt will be used.

This facility has been started in a total of 500 trains. Passengers observing fast during their journey will be able to order this food while sitting on e-catering or by calling number 1323. In this, things like lassi, fresh juice, buckwheat pakoras, vegetables and puris, fruits, tea, milk, kheer etc. will be available to the passengers. Passengers will have to pay Rs 125 to Rs 200 to get the facility of fasting thali during the journey.
