He will take over his responsibility from the T20 series against New Zealand starting on November 17. The Indian Cricket Board gave this information. Let us tell you that the current head coach Ravi Shastri has already announced that he will step down as the head coach of Team India after the 2021 T20 World Cup.

The 48-year-old Dravid, one of India’s greatest players, has been in charge of the India A and U-19 system for the past six years. Under his supervision, players like Rishabh Pant, Avesh Khan, Prithvi Shaw, Hanuma Vihari and Shubman Gill have traveled from junior level to the national team. He is currently the head of the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore.

Let us inform that after the 2021 T20 World Cup, the New Zealand team will tour India for a three-match T20 series and a two-match Test series. The tour will start with the first T20 on November 17. From this series itself, Rahul Dravid will take over as the head coach of Team India. He has impressed immensely with his work as the head of India-A and NCA.
