Priyanka Gandhi, who was going to meet the families of farmers killed in the violent uproar in Lakhimpur Kheri, was detained by the police near Sitapur late on Sunday night. Since then Priyanka Gandhi has been doing ‘Satyagraha’ at the guest house of Sitapur. Protests by Congress workers are also going on outside the guest house regarding this. On Tuesday, Priyanka Gandhi shared a video in her tweet and asked a question to the Modi government.

Priyanka targeted the government: Let us tell you that in the video shared by Priyanka Gandhi, it is seen that the vehicles of the convoy are going out trampling the farmers. On this, Priyanka Gandhi tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi and wrote, “Modi ji, your government has kept me in custody for the last 28 hours without any order and FIR. This person who crushed the food donor has not been arrested yet. Why?”

Rahul supported: At the same time, on this tweet of Priyanka, her brother and former Congress National President Rahul Gandhi has supported her, calling her a true Congressman. He wrote in his tweet that, “The one who is kept in custody is not afraid – is a true Congressman, will not give up! Satyagraha will not stop.”

Priyanka clarified in custody: Significantly, Priyanka Gandhi was also seen cleaning the guest house after being taken into custody. The video of him sweeping was also widely seen on social media. On the other hand, Priyanka Gandhi has said about meeting the victims’ families that “until the farmers are not allowed to meet the victims’ families and other farmers, I will not take food.”

Many leaders did not get permission: Let us inform that after the violent uproar in Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday, the political atmosphere in the state has heated up. All political parties are trying to meet the families of the victims, although the administration did not allow them. Apart from Priyanka Gandhi, among other opposition leaders going to Lakhimpur Kheri, Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav was also stopped by the UP Police outside his house. Apart from this, the order was issued by the UP government on Monday not to allow Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and Punjab Chief Minister Channi to land in Lucknow.

Allegations against the minister’s son: In the case of violence in Lakhimpur Kheri, the charge is against Ashish Mishra, son of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra. The farmers have alleged that amid the peaceful protest, Ashish Mishra came with three vehicles and left after crushing the farmers.
