Public holiday announced across the country on Ambedkar Jayanti, all government offices to remain closed on April 14

New Delhi | Ambedkar Jayanti 2022: Taking a big decision, the Government of India has announced a public holiday across the country on April 14, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, the architect of the country’s constitution. A notification has been issued by the Central Government in this regard. In which a public holiday has been declared on Bhimrao Ambedkar Jayanti.

All government offices will remain closed
Ambedkar Jayanti 2022: In the notification of holiday issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions of the Central Government, it has been said that the birthday of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar by the Central Government will be a holiday across India on Thursday, April 14, 2022. In such a situation, all industrial establishments, as well as central government offices, will remain closed across the country.

Babasaheb, the architect of the Constitution of India
Ambedkar Jayanti 2022: Born on 14 April 1891, Babasaheb was also awarded the Bharat Ratna, the highest civilian award, posthumously on 31 March 1990. Along with playing an important role in the freedom struggle for the country, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar had also taken up the responsibility of making the constitution for the entire nation and gave the constitution to India. Due to which every year his birth anniversary is celebrated with great pomp across the country.
