Problems of cabinet expansion in Maharashtra

In Maharashtra, the BJP has formed the government under the command of Shiv Sena’s rebel leader Eknath Shinde, but the expansion of the cabinet is becoming difficult for it. Chief Minister Shinde is also upset and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is also upset. That is why it is being said that the formation of the cabinet will be postponed for some more time. According to informed sources, the extension has been stalled for the last 10 days in the name of hearing in the Supreme Court on July 11. There will be expansion after the court’s decision, even then there is talk of making only 10-12 ministers. It is being told that it was discussed in the meeting of Shinde and Fadnavis with Union Home Minister Amit Shah, in which it was decided that now seven-eight BJP ministers and four-five ministers of Shinde faction should be made and cabinet expansion should be postponed. .

In fact, except Aditya Thackeray, one of the MLAs who became ministers after winning the last assembly elections, is with Shinde and all want to become ministers again. On the other hand, if BJP follows the formula of making one minister for three MLAs, even then not more than 13 MLAs will be able to become ministers. As soon as this formula came to the fore, many leaders of Shinde faction got angry and started pressurizing them. When BJP leader Kirit Somaiya called Uddhav Thackeray a mafia in a tweet recently, the leaders of Shinde faction were so furious that two MLAs publicly expressed their displeasure and said that no one will attack Uddhav Thackeray. This is part of a pressure strategy to become a minister. So, now the work will be carried out by making 10-12 ministers. BJP aims to win BMC elections. Till that time the expansion will be postponed and whatever happens after that, BJP does not care about it.
