Prayagraj: The number of dengue patients is increasing continuously in Prayagraj. In the last 24 hours, 22 new dengue patients have appeared, after which the number of dengue patients in the district has crossed 872. The danger of dengue still persists in the urban areas. Most of the dengue patients are coming from urban areas, at present 626 patients are from urban areas, while 244 patients are from rural areas. It is a matter of concern that despite the onset of pink cold, the number of dengue patients is continuously increasing.

Half a dozen policemen, including 2 inspectors posted in Prayagraj, have come under the grip of dengue. All of them are hospitalized. Sub-inspector Arvind Kushwaha, Abhishek Singh and constables Om Prakash Yadav, Dilip Kumar, Manvendra and female constable Anu Sharma posted from Saraiinayat police station are admitted to the hospital due to dengue. Dengue patients are continuously appearing in Prayagraj, due to which the fear is increasing among the people.

Day 22 new dengue patients have been found. Even after Diwali, Chhath Puja, the health department is also worried due to continuous dengue patients. It is generally believed that Dengue’s parkop lasts only till October, but the health department is worried about getting dengue patients even in the month of November.

CMO appealed to the people

According to the report of the Health Department, two patients have been found in Bahadurpur and Phulpur. . According to Prayagraj CMO Dr. Nanak Saran, the teams of the health department are working fast for the necessary treatment and preventive relief for the prevention of dengue.

The CMO has appealed to the people not to allow water logging anywhere in the house or in their locality. Also, bring mosquito coils and mosquito nets in daily use. Giving relief, he said that after a few days when the cold increases further, the number of dengue patients will decrease. He has appealed to the people to keep their body covered and also take special care of cleanliness.
