Prashant Kishor will work for YSRCP but party leaders are angry with his methods

Several YSRCP leaders allege that Prashant Kishor and his team members switched off their mobiles just after the election. There was no contact with him.

Many YSRCP leaders these days are seen to be very restless about election strategist Prashant Kishor. In fact, ever since Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy announced that Prashant Kishor (PK) would work for his party YSRCP, many party leaders are showing displeasure. They feel that arbitrary decisions of PK will not be beneficial for the party. Party leaders believe that Prashant Kishor’s contribution to the YSRCP’s victory in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections was overestimated.

In fact, many leaders of YSRCP are deeply hurt about the behavior of PK. Party insiders say that even in the 2019 elections, PK had acted in a very arbitrary manner. There were complaints that YSRCP in-charge, leaders, social media workers and booth committees worked hard on their behalf, but the credit went to Team PK.

Sources say that Prashant Kishor and his team underestimated party leaders and workers. Now when it has been announced that the PK team will again work for the party, the discontent of the party leaders is coming to the fore.

Those working for the party before 2019 allege that Prashant Kishor and his team members switched off their mobiles just after the elections. While many leaders had spent huge money on their behalf for the survey, but after the results they could not get in touch with PK. A leader from Prakasam district said that we spent around Rs 2 crore for Prashant Kishor’s team. But when the election was over, they stopped receiving our calls.

At the same time, now many party leaders, who have gone through such experience with the PK team, are making up their mind this time that they will keep themselves out of PK’s election surveys. He believes that he will not waste his money in the name of survey.
