JDU’s target on BJP

Patna, In Manipur, five out of six MLAs of Janata Dal-U have broken away and switched to the BJP. JDU has targeted its old ally BJP over this. Along with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, his party’s national president and other leaders also attacked strongly. Nitish Kumar said- One thing is being proved that what kind of work people are doing. Is it a constitutional thing to bring in and draw people from other parties to their side, the people who are doing this work? Is this the right thing to do? If all the people of the opposition are united, then the decision of the people of the country will be very good in the elections of 2024. Then these people will know.

Janata Dal-U National President Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh said- BJP has done in Manipur what it had done earlier in Delhi, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. In Arunachal we had won seven seats and in Manipur we had won six and in both the states we won the elections directly by defeating the BJP. He said that in 2020 when JD(U) was part of NDA, people of Arunachal BJP broke six out of seven MLAs and recently merged one with their party. But whatever happened in Manipur, money and force have been used there.

Before Saturday’s national executive meeting, state government minister Ashok Choudhary said- Bharatiya Janata Party had broken our MLAs even when we were with them. Now we are against, then if we break it, then what is the big deal.
