Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has increased the price of domestic PNG by 50 paise in Delhi from today. After this it has increased from Rs 35.11 per SCM to Rs 35.61 per SCM. These increased prices have come into effect from today itself.
Why did the company increase the prices
Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) says that due to the continuous increase in cost, the company has decided to increase the price and for this reason people in Delhi will now have to spend more money for PNG.
IGL increased CNG prices in Delhi last month
Let us inform that on December 3, Indraprastha Gas Limited had increased the price of CNG to Rs 53.04 per kg. IGL has increased the prices of CNG four times since October 2021. At present, CNG is available at Rs 60.30 per kg in Gurugram, Haryana and Rs 61.10 per kg in Rewari.
Know what are the rates of PNG at present
If we look at the retail prices of domestic PNG, it is currently priced at Rs 34.86 per SCM in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad. In Karnal and Rewari, the rate of PNG is Rs 34.42 per SCM. At present, the cheapest PNG is available in Gurugram where its price is Rs 33.81 per SCM.
CNG became expensive in Mumbai two days ago
Mahanagar Gas Limited on January 8 increased the price of CNG in Mumbai by Rs 2.50 per kg, after which it increased to Rs 66 per kg, as against Rs 63.40 earlier. This is the sixth time since the year 2021 that the prices of piped natural gas have been increased and this is the first time in the year 2022.
