Prime Minister Narendra Modi Celebrated his 72nd birthday on 17th September. Many programs were organized across the country on his birthday. Even 8 cheetahs brought from Namibia reached India on the same day, which PM Modi himself left in Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh. Among many programs, ‘Akhand Path’ was also organized for the betterment of the Prime Minister at Gurdwara Shri Bala Sahib Ji in Delhi. Thousands of Sikh devotees took part in this ‘Akhand Path’. Now a delegation of this Gurudwara has met PM Modi at his residence today.
This delegation of the Gurudwara had reached the PM’s residence to give him prasad and blessings. The Sikh delegation honored Prime Minister Modi by tying a turban on his head and offering a siropa. Also prayed for PM Modi’s long life and good health. The Prime Minister expressed his happiness on meeting the Sikh delegation and expressed his gratitude for their well wishes and also prayed for their well being. During this, the PM said that he was very happy to meet the Sikh community. He was very impressed by the delegation’s behavior and their humility. PM Modi also said that the people of the delegation made him feel as if he was part of the Sikh community.

Expressed gratitude to PM Modi
The PM assured the members of the Sikh delegation that he would continue to work for the welfare of the Sikh community. During the meeting, the delegation thanked PM Modi for the work done by the government for the respect and welfare of Sikhs. He thanked PM Modi for all the welfare works including declaring 26 December as ‘Veer Bal Diwas’, reopening of Kartarpur Sahib Corridor, removal of GST on langars run by Gurdwaras.
Organized ‘Akhand Path’
According to the information, on the occasion of Prime Minister Modi’s birthday, an ‘Akhand Path’ was organized at ‘Shri Bala Sahib Ji’ Gurdwara in Delhi. This ‘Akhand Path’ started on 15 September and ended on 17 September on PM’s birthday. Thousands of Sikh devotees took part in this ‘Akhand Path’ held in the Gurdwara. This was probably the first such initiative, when a Gurudwara organized ‘Akhand Path’ for the Prime Minister of the country. On this occasion, Langar, Health Camp and Blood Donation Camp were also organized in the Gurdwara.
