PM Modi Meeting On Omicron: So far, more than 300 cases of Omicron have been reported in the country, with the maximum number of cases in the state of Maharashtra. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday held a review meeting with concerned officials and members of NITI Aayog in view of the rising Omicron cases.

Omicron spreads 70 times faster

In this meeting, mainly to prevent the spread of infection has been discussed. According to information obtained by a recent research, the new Omicron version of the corona spreads 70 times faster than other versions of the former.

Omicron infection has spread to about 15 states of the country.

Before the meeting, the central government has asked all the states to impose necessary restrictions in view of the upcoming festivals so that the spread of infection can be stopped in time. 1. Night Curfew – Considering imposing Night Curfew in view of upcoming Christmas and New Year celebrations.

2. Health Services – Discussion on vaccination and ensuring proper amount of beds in hospitals. Instructions issued to work actively for health services.

3. Stop rumours – In view of the Omicron infection, the government should stop the spread of any kind of rumours. Rumors strike as widely as the pandemic.

4. Corona test – Care has to be given to corona test in excessive quantity. Especially the people coming from outside will have to keep an eye on them.

5. Door to Door Campaign – Pay special attention to vaccination under the door to door campaign started by the Central Government regarding Kovid 19 vaccination. Make sure to vaccinate all the people of the state soon.
