PhonePe will charge in the range of Rs 1 to 2 on mobile recharges above Rs 50

PhonePe Transaction Fees : To recharge mobile phones on the digital payment app PhonePe, users will have to give processing. For mobile recharge costing more than Rs 50, users will have to pay Rs 1 to Rs 2 per transaction. The company has said that it will charge a transaction charge of Re 1 for recharge between Rs 50 and Rs 100 and Rs 2 for recharge above Rs 100. PhonePe is the first payment app to start charging for UPI-based transactions.

Charges will have to be paid on recharge of more than Rs 50

PhonePe will charge a processing fee for UPI-based transactions above Rs 50. If you do not spend up to Rs 50, then you will not be charged anything through the digital app. Like other payment apps, PhonePe will also start charging processing fees for payments made through credit cards. PhonePe, Paytm and Google Pay are one of the payment apps used in India. The company has recorded over 165 crore UPI transactions on its platform in September, with the app segment accounting for more than 40%. According to PhonePe, no transaction charge is levied on recharge of less than Rs 50. Most of the users are either not paying anything or paying only one rupee.

Can do many transactions with Payment Apps

Like Paytm and Google Pay, PhonePe is used to transfer money with BHIM UPI, manage multiple bank accounts, check account balance. Also, Jio, Vodafone-Idea, Airtel’s PrePaid mobile number can be recharged through this app. Also postpaid bills can be paid. DTH service of Tata Sky, Airtel Direct, Sun Direct, Videocon can also be recharged. Apart from this, many types of utility bills can also be paid through this app. You can also buy or renew an insurance policy using the PhonePe app.
