‘Phir Kabhi’, a short film on the complexities of gay and heterosexual marriage, ready for special screening at IFFM 2022

‘Phir Kabhi’ (The Way We Are) is the first film directed and written by Nihit Bhave starring talented actors Manav Kaul and Amrita Shubhash.

The film begins with the story of a husband who remembers his school days, when he felt himself different from other boys, realizing that his body reacts to men in the same way. Men feel when they see women. On the other hand, the wife realizes that she has always let others decide what she eats, what she wears, what she studies, whom she marries and how she has sex. As the couple learns of their feelings, they start searching for words to describe it all to each other.
