Nainital, The High Court has dismissed the PIL filed against the construction of New Greenfield Airport at Pantnagar in Uttarakhand.
A bench headed by Chief Justice Vipin Sanghi dismissed the petition after hearing the matter. It was said from the government that the matter of New Green Field Airport is under consideration of the Cabinet. Right now the government has not been able to finalize where the airport is to be built. The court also accepted that this is a policy matter of the government. The government can build an airport at the appropriate place. After this the court dismissed the PIL.
