Congress leader Rahul Gandhi On Sunday, India couples were seen addressing people amid heavy rains in Mysore, Karnataka during the Yatra. During this, he fiercely targeted BJP and RSS and said that the purpose of Bharat Jodo Yatra is to stand against the hatred being spread against the country. He also shared a video of himself addressing thousands of people in torrential rain. With this video, he tweeted, “No one can stop us from uniting India. No one can stop us from raising India’s voice. Will go from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, no one can stop India Jodo Yatra.

Apart from Rahul Gandhi, Congress leader Jairam Ramesh has also shared his video. In his tweet, he wrote, “Despite torrential rains in Mysore on the evening of Gandhi Jayanti, Rahul Gandhi addressed a huge crowd of people. It was a clear declaration that no power can stop the Bharat Jodo Yatra, uniting the country against hatred, speaking out against unemployment and inflation.

Rahul Gandhi said – this journey will not stop

Addressing the people in Mysore, Rahul Gandhi said, heat, storm, rain or cold, this journey is not going to stop with anyone. In this river you will not see hatred or violence, only love and brotherhood will be seen. You know what the BJP government is doing in Karnataka. BJP and Chief Minister have broken all records of corruption. He takes 40 percent commission on everything.

Earlier, Rahul Gandhi on Sunday paid tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on his birth anniversary and said that it is easy for those in power to grab the legacy of Mahatma Gandhi, but difficult to follow in his footsteps. The ideology that killed Mahatma Gandhi has eroded inequality, division and hard-earned freedom in the past eight years, Rahul said after visiting a Khadi Village Industries Center here.

It is noteworthy that Mahatma Gandhi visited this center in 1927 and 1932. Rahul also attended a prayer meeting and interacted with women weavers at the Khadi Village Industries Centre. Later he went to Badanavalu village near Mysuru and he interacted with villagers apart from doing Shramdaan. He also filled colors in the tricolor (national flag) along with the children of the village.

The former Congress president said in a statement, “We remember and pay tribute to the great son of India. This remembrance of ours has made it more touching that we are on the 25th day of the Bharat Jodo Yatra, a padyatra in which we are walking on their path of non-violence, solidarity, equality and justice. The way Gandhiji fought the British Raj, we have started fighting the ideology that killed Gandhi. This ideology has eroded inequality, division and hard earned freedom in the last eight years. Against this politics of violence and untruth, Bharat Jodo Yatra will spread the message of non-violence and Swaraj from Kanyakumari to Kashmir.
