Pakistan team reached the semi-finals with pride, will now clash with Australia

Pakistan Defeats Scotland: Pakistan defeated Scotland by 72 runs in their last match of the Super-12 stage in the T20 World Cup-2021. With this win, Pakistan topped Group 2 and will face Australia in the semi-finals. Playing first in the match played on Sunday, Pakistan scored 189 runs for 4 wickets. In reply, Scotland’s team could only score 117 runs for the loss of 6 wickets.

This is also the fifth consecutive victory of Pakistan. With this the lineup of the semi-finals of the tournament has also been decided. In the first semi-final on November 10, England will face New Zealand in Abu Dhabi. Pakistan and Australia will meet in the second semi-final to be held in Dubai on November 11. The final match will be played on November 14 in Dubai itself.

Pakistan team undefeated

Only Pakistan remained undefeated among the four teams that reached the semi-finals. The other three teams lost one match each in the Super-12 stage. England has been defeated by South Africa, New Zealand has been defeated by Pakistan, while Australia has been defeated by England. In Group-1, England’s team remained at number-1. Australia got second place. Both have 8-8 points, but England are ahead due to better run rate. In Group-2, Pakistan’s team topped with 5 wins. New Zealand took the second place with 8 points.
