NASA’s mission to save Earth successful

Los Angeles, The US space agency (NASA) has successfully struck a small spacecraft into an asteroid to test its ability to protect Earth from possible future asteroids. This mission was named Double Asteroid Re-Direction Test (DART). Under the mission, the spacecraft collided with the moon-like stone Dimorphos of the asteroid Didymos on September 26 at 4.45 am at a speed of fourteen thousand miles per hour. A last-minute live video of the collision was also visible. NASA has also released this video on its Twitter handle.

Significantly, there are more than 1000 huge stones revolving around our earth, which can prove to be a threat to the earth at any time. These huge stone rocks are called meteorites.
