Meerut CMO Akhilesh Mohan said that no new case of dengue has been found in the district today. He said that the number of active dengue cases in Meerut is 45. Of these, 11 patients are admitted in various hospitals and 34 are being treated at home. So far 1597 have been recovered. According to CMO Akhilesh Mohan, we are appealing to the people to keep cleanliness. According to the CMO, no corona infected was found in Meerut district even on Sunday in the examination of 3805 samples. CMO Dr. Akhilesh Mohan said that now there is no corona patient in the district. He said that samples of 3312 people have been taken on Sunday.

A close watch is being kept on the passengers returning from abroad

CMO Akhilesh Mohan said that vigilance has been increased in view of the potential danger of Corona new variant Omicron. A close watch is being kept on the passengers returning from abroad. The administration has received a list of 333 passengers arriving in Meerut after November 24. Out of these, 205 passengers have been tested for Kovid so far. It is a matter of relief that everyone’s corona report is negative. Apart from this, the families of 128 other passengers are being traced and contacted. There are many of them who have returned abroad after two days.

Preparations made in view of the threat of Kovid

Nevertheless, if the number of corona patients increases, then the superspeciality block will be operated as a Kovid hospital. Its preparations have been completed. Mock drill has also been done. It has a provision of 200 beds.
