On the 58th death anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru, Sonia Gandhi paid tribute to Shantivan.
New Delhi | Nehru Death Anniversary: Today, on the occasion of the death anniversary of independent India’s first PM Jawaharlal Nehru, it was celebrated across the country by the leaders of other parties including Congress. Congress President Sonia Gandhi paid homage to the country’s first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru on his 58th death anniversary and paid tributes at his Samadhi Shantivan. In the morning, Mrs Gandhi paid homage to Pandit Nehru by visiting Shantivan, the memorial site of Pandit Nehru. On this occasion a large number of Congress leaders were present there to pay tribute to Pandit Nehru.

Nehru Death Anniversary: The Prime Minister of the country also remembered Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and paid tribute to him. Let us tell you that Nehru is known for his different thinking and leadership ability. Jawaharlal Nehru served as the Prime Minister from 1947 to 1964. People still remember him because of his farsightedness and understanding of things.
