Additional Chief Secretary Medical and Health Amit Mohan Prasad said that a total of 1,47,851 samples were tested in the state yesterday, in which 572 new cases of corona infection have come. A total of 9,34,34,911 samples have been tested so far in the state. Yesterday 75935 samples have been sent from different districts for RTPCR test.

2261 active cases in the state

Amit Mohan Prasad said that in the last 24 hours, 34 and so far a total of 16,87,930 people have been cured of Kovid-19. There are a total of 2261 active cases of corona in the state. Amit Mohan Prasad said that the work of Kovid vaccination is being done continuously. In the state yesterday, 3,19,098 doses were given in a day. Till yesterday, the first dose was 12,84,94,516 and the second dose was 7,40,93,819. A total of 20,25,88,335 doses have been given so far. He said that the vaccination of children in the age group of 15 to 18 years has started from today, which was inspected by the Chief Minister by visiting the Civil Hospital. Children between the ages of 15 and 18 are being given the vaccine. On the instructions of the Chief Minister, today 03 January and tomorrow 04 January, rehearsal of health services is being done in view of Kovid-19, under which all health equipments are being seen.
