Omicron Ccase In Maharashtra: On Friday, a total of 7 new cases of new variant Omicron of corona have been confirmed in Maharashtra, due to which the total number of Omicron cases in the state has reached 17. These figures are becoming a cause of concern for the state government. At the same time, due to these 7 new Omicron cases reported in Maharashtra today, the total number of Omicron cases in the country has gone up to 32. Under this, 17 cases are registered in Maharashtra, 9 cases in Rajasthan, 3 cases in Gujarat, 2 cases in Karnataka and 1 case of Omicron infected in Delhi.

The Health Ministry says that only mild symptoms of the virus have been seen in people coming infected with Omicron and people now need to take special precautions which include wearing masks, keeping physical distance, etc.

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister held a meeting regarding Omicron

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar today held a meeting with State Home Minister Dilip Walse Patil and other officials to review the coronavirus situation in Pune to discuss the growing influence of Omicron. Due to growing concerns over Omicron, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar said that those returning abroad to the state are being monitored and their health is being monitored by the concerned health officials and staff.

Apart from this, the Deputy Chief Minister said that – “So far in Maharashtra, we have identified a total of 4,604 passengers coming from foreign countries and the administration is constantly contacting them and their health is being checked regularly. Used to be.”
