Hathras News: On the instructions of District Magistrate Ramesh Ranjan, continuous action is being taken for effective control of communicable diseases. The Chief Medical Officer said that 41 RRT team members in the district are going from house to house informing people about the prevention of dengue. Patients suffering from fever are being treated by organizing health camps.

Hathras ki taj khabar – During the survey, anti-larval spraying (anti larval ka chhidkav) has been done in all the revenue villages and their majre in total 1031 villages. Today, anti larval spraying was done again in 4 villages and till now fogging was done in 489 villages. So far 340225 houses have been surveyed by 1907 teams. So far 21225 people have been found suffering from fever. There is no patient in the district infected with encephalitis, chikungunya and kala-azar. The number of dengue positive patients is 307. Apart from this, 26458 (coolers, drums, pots etc.) have been evacuated under the source reduction number, and pyrethrum has been sprayed in 463 villages.

The Chief Medical Officer has informed that intensive action is being taken by the Health Department for the control of fever, dengue, malaria and other communicable diseases. The medical officers in-charge of all the community primary hospitals of the district are treating the patients by setting up village camps. Anti-larva spray and fogging work is being done daily. Fever patients are being searched every day by RRT teams from house to house and they are being treated by organizing health camps.

In view of communicable diseases, the officers/employees of the Health Department/Panchayati Raj Department/Municipal Bodies in the district, making a team to prevent communicable diseases, going door-to-door and visiting people, tires, pots, lying on the roof of the houses. The cooler water is being emptied. During the survey, the problem of water logging in the municipal and rural areas is being removed and anti-larva spraying is being done in the drains. Special attention is being paid to ensure that there is no problem of water logging etc.

In view of the control of communicable diseases by the Health Department, necessary arrangements are being made for all necessary treatment and medicines etc. and there is adequate availability of medicines at all health centers. Wherever cases of infectious diseases are being received, urgent work is being done by the team for sampling and its prevention. The health department is providing proper treatment to the patients for the prevention of communicable diseases. In the current season, for the treatment and prevention of patients suffering from deadly diseases like dengue, malaria, information is being given by making an appeal to the general public. People are being asked to keep their surroundings clean to prevent the spread of communicable diseases.
