Ola-Uber, Auto-taxi, RTV buses strike in Delhi from today, anger over rising fuel prices

New Delhi | Auto Taxi Strike: People suffering from scorching heat in the country’s capital Delhi may now have to deal with the problem of auto-taxi, Ola-Uber to travel. Various organizations of auto, taxi and minibus drivers in Delhi have announced to go on a two-day strike from Monday in view of the ever-increasing fuel prices in the country. In such a situation, Delhiites may have to face a lot of trouble for two days.

Demand for hike in fare rates and reduction in CNG prices
Due to the strike in Delhi, the Delhi Auto-Taxi Association, a unit of the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, has announced a strike in Delhi on April 18 and 19. He says that autos and cabs will be completely closed for two days in the capital. Various unions have announced strike to demand hike in fare rates and reduction in CNG prices. Simultaneously, STA operators Ekta Manch said that about 10,000 RTV buses will also remain closed to demand revision of fares and reduction in CNG prices.

‘Indefinite’ strike warning!
Auto Taxi Strike: Significantly, hundreds of auto, taxi and cab drivers recently protested at the Delhi Secretariat demanding subsidy on CNG prices. After which the Kejriwal government of Delhi has announced the formation of a committee to consider the fare revision in a time bound manner. But despite this, various organizations have gone on strike. Delhi’s Sarveday Driver Association says that there will be an ‘indefinite’ strike in Delhi from Monday.
