New Delhi | Controversial statement Nupur Sharma: Nupur Sharma has become a controversial face after the statement on Prophet Mohammad on a TV channel. Now Nupur Sharma and her family have been provided security by Delhi Police. A complaint was given to the police on behalf of Ms. Sharma and her family that they were being threatened with death. After this the police have increased their security. A senior official said Ms Sharma has been given security, but she declined to share details. While registering the FIR, Ms. Sharma had said that she was receiving death threats.

International level criticism
Controversial statement Nupur Sharma : Days after Nupur’s controversial remarks about Prophet Mohammad went viral on social media, people from the Muslim community took to the streets in a city like Kanpur and violence broke out. At the same time, India has also faced criticism at the international level. In many countries, there was a campaign on Twitter and the demand for boycott of Indian products started rising. A total of 15 countries, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Jordan, United Arab Emirates and Iran, have so far objected to India on this issue. After which the Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday suspended Ms Sharma from the membership of the party and also suspended the membership of Delhi Media Unit chief Naveen Jindal.

BJP had also condemned the statement
Controversial statement Nupur Sharma : The BJP had suspended both saying that it respected all religions and the party strongly condemned the controversial remarks made by any religious person. Nupur herself has also apologized for her statement and is accusing her of presenting her statements in a twisted manner. After the violence in Kanpur, the situation is continuously getting worse and Nupur has also shared threatening phone recordings to the police in which it is being said that she was killed.
