Now ATM will dispense money without using a card! This facility is going to be started in all banks

New Delhi | Cardless Cash Withdrawal: Now people will not have to face the problem of getting the card stuck in the ATM machine. Now, in the ATM machines of all the banks of the country, the facility of withdrawing money will be available to the people without inserting the ATM card. Till now this facility was available only in few banks. People will be able to get the benefit of this facility through UPI, in which there will be no need of card.

This will be the advantage of going cardless – Cardless Cash Withdrawal:

Bank customers will not require a debit or credit card while withdrawing money from ATMs.
Thugs will not be able to clone the card and fraud cases can be avoided.

Customers will not have to deal with the time of forgetting the password while withdrawing money from the ATM.
– The problem of card getting stuck in the machine and card not being read will get rid of.
This will make the transactions very safe.

Confirming this, Reserve Bank of India Governor Shaktikanta Das informed that at present the facility of cardless cash withdrawal through ATMs is limited to only a few banks. It is now proposed to provide cardless cash withdrawal facility at all banks and ATM networks using UPI. At present, this facility is available in few other banks including SBI, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank and Bank of Baroda.
