There is a good news for government central employees, because now they will be able to travel in Tejas trains for free. Central government employees who have to travel by rail to go out of office work will no longer have to pay the fare. The government has allowed its employees to travel in Tejas trains for free or at subsidized rates. However, only office-goers will get the benefit of such free travel. They will get this exemption on their official tour. The Finance Ministry has issued a notice. It has been informed in this that government central employees will now be able to travel in Tejas trains for free or at low cost.

Finance Ministry issued notification

The Finance Ministry has issued a notification in which it has been informed that the employees of the Central Government will now be able to travel in Tejas trains for free or at a reduced cost. According to the ministry’s notice, the authorities considered allowing travel in Tejas Express trains for official travel. After this the government approved it. According to the office memorandum, this concession will be applicable for travel, training, transfer and retirement travel in addition to the trains granted. The entitlement to travel in Tejas Express trains will be same as that of Shatabdi trains.

Which employees will get the benefit of free train travel?

In the notification by the Ministry of Finance, it has been told that which employees can avail for train travel, it depends on the salary of the employees. Eligible government officials are allowed to travel in premium trains, premium tatkal trains, Rajdhani, Shatabdi, Duronto trains. They can travel for a low fare or for free. According to an official, the ministry has issued a notice and put Tejas trains in the list of premium trains. By doing this, central government employees can travel by these trains for official tours.

It is worth noting that Tejas is the first train in the country to have 20 coaches, which have automatic doors. In addition, tea-coffee vending machines have also been installed in each compartment. Each seat has an LCD screen and Wi-Fi access. Tejas Rajdhani Express is a semi high speed train operated by Indian Railways. Tejas Express is a medium speed train of Indian Railways with modern facilities.
