Nobel Prize for three scientists for ‘quantum mechanics’

Stockholm. This year’s Nobel Prize in Physics has been awarded to Elai Espay, John F. Klauser and Anton Cylinger for their work on quantum information science.

Hans Allegren, general secretary of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, announced the winner on Tuesday at the Karoliska Institutet in Stockholm.

The Nobel Prize in Medicine was announced on Monday to Swedish scientist Svante Paibo. He was given this award for his research on the evolution of human beings.

The Nobel Prize in Chemistry will be announced on Wednesday. The Nobel Prize in Literature will be awarded on Thursday. The Nobel Peace Prize, 2022 will be announced on Friday and the Nobel Prize in Economics will be announced on October 10.
