New Delhi | Aajam Khan SC SP : Regarding the cases registered against SP leader Azam Khan one after the other, the SC said that he is a criminal and he should not get bail. The Supreme Court reserved the verdict on bail. On the other hand, the SP leader’s lawyer accused the UP government that his client was being dragged into political malice. After hearing the arguments of both the sides, the Supreme Court reserved its decision. The UP government said that in the year 2020, an FIR was registered in the case and in 2022, Azam Khan’s name was added. The court asked why the complainant took two years to add the name of Azam Khan. On the other hand, Azam Khan’s lawyer said that this FIR was registered when Azam was in jail.

Aajam Khan SC SP : Additional Solicitor General Raju, appearing for the Uttar Pradesh government, said that when Azam Khan’s statement was being recorded, he threatened the investigating officer. His threat was read out in the court room by the ASG. He told that Azam Khan had said that I am not going to die yet. If my government comes, I will avenge each and every one and you too will have to come to this jail. Let my government come, see how I do, I will not leave the SDM who sued me, let my government come.
