How to set up on Android

First of all it is necessary to have finger print scanner in your phone.
Open your Whatsapp, now go to Settings, then go to Account and go to Privacy.
Now scroll down for Finger Print Lock. You will see it disabled.
Now tap on that button. Now your phone will ask you to confirm the fingerprint.
Now you will get the option to select the time duration. You can select immediately, one minute and after 30 minutes.
You can also check to hide notifications.

How to set up on iPhone

First of all check that Touch ID is enabled.
Now you have to open your WhatsApp.
Now go to Settings, then go to Account and go to Privacy.
Scroll down and tap Screen lock.
Now tap on “Require Touch ID” option.
Now you will get the option to select the time duration. You can select immediately, one minute, 15 minutes and after 30 minutes.
