No case of lumpy skin disease in Chhattisgarh so far

Raipur, No case of animal lumpy skin disease has been reported in Chhattisgarh so far. LSD in-charge Dr. Conditionia informed here today that against the target of 8.20 lakh animal vaccinations, 3.67 lakh animals have been vaccinated so far in the state. Instructions were given to make necessary arrangements as a precaution to protect against this disease. The boundaries of 18 districts of Chhattisgarh are connected with other states, from where check posts are being established in 85 border villages to check the movement of sick animals. Along with banning cattle fairs in these villages, middlemen are also being monitored.

He informed that preventive immunization is being done by Got-Pask Vaccine to protect the animals from the infection of this disease. Adequate medicines have been arranged in the regional institutions to provide immediate medical facilities in case of animals getting sick due to this disease.
