Primary school closed from tomorrow till the pollution situation improves in Delhi

The situation of pollution in Delhi has become such that the administration has announced the closure of primary schools from tomorrow till the situation improves. There is haze in the capital as the air quality is severe. According to the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research, the air quality index in Delhi is in the 424 (severe) category. Whereas in Gurugram this figure is in the 539 category and in Noida 562. On the other hand, the air quality in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh remained in the severe category. Due to this, there was fog all over Ghaziabad.

On the situation of pollution in Delhi, Dr. Randiv Guleria, former Director of AIIMS, while talking to the media has said that children, elderly people whose lungs and heart are weak should not go to such places where there is more pollution. If you have to go, go during the day when the sun has gone out and wear a mask. We can call air pollution a silent killer.

Dr. Guleria said that people are dying due to pollution and the standard of living is decreasing. As air pollution in AIIMS increases, the number of patients with shortness of breath increases. It also has a bad effect on pregnant women and unborn children.
