Jammu. A team of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrived on Thursday to investigate two mysterious blasts in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir, in which two people were injured. Two blasts took place in Udhampur district at 10.30 pm in a span of eight hours. on Wednesdays and at 6 a.m. on Thursdays. One of these explosions took place in a bus parked near a petrol pump station at Domail Chowk in Udhampur, in which two people were injured.
Additional Director General of Police (Jammu) Mukesh Singh told reporters that there were two blasts one after the other within a radius of two kilometers in Udhampur. The ADGP said that preliminary investigation shows that these were IED explosions. He said the police could not rule out the use of bombs in these twin blasts. (IANS)
